The Office français de l’immigration et de l’intégration (French Office for Immigration and Integration) informs asylum seekers from the region of residence, as provided for in Article L. 551-3, of the place of accommodation, or in the absence of available accommodation, of the organisation under agreement pursuant to Article L. 550-2.
In the event that the asylum seeker is directed to a region other than the region where the asylum application was registered, the Office français de l’immigration et de l’intégration (French Office for Immigration and Integration) will provide the asylum seeker with a transport ticket to travel to one of the places mentioned in Article R. 551-2. The applicant must go there within five days.
As soon as the asylum seeker arrives, the manager of the place of accommodation or, where applicable, the organisation under agreement pursuant to Article L. 550-2, informs the French Office for Immigration and Integration without delay. The manager of this place or structure will register the applicant as an address for service. .
If the applicant fails to appear within the five-day period referred to in Article R. 551-3, the benefit of material reception conditions may be terminated, pursuant to Article L. 551-16.

Organisations under agreement in application of article L. 550-2 or providing stable accommodation for asylum seekers will provide those concerned with a declaration of domicile, the model for which is set by order of the minister responsible for asylum.This declaration is issued to asylum seekers in possession of an asylum application certificate. The declaration of domiciliation is granted for a period of one year. It is renewable.
