Article 40 of the French Customs Code

All foreign products that do not comply with the obligations imposed on indications of origin by the law of 20 April 1932 and the decrees issued for its implementation are prohibited from entry and excluded from storage.

Article 40

Sont prohibés à l’entrée et exclus de l’entrepôt tous produits étrangers qui ne satisfont pas aux obligations imposées, en matière d’indication d’origine, par la loi du 20 avril 1932 et les décrets pris pour son exécution.
