Article L135-3 of the French Commercial code

Self-employed door-to-door salespeople whose business income has reached an amount set by decree during a period defined by the same decree are required to register with the Trade and Companies Register or the Special Register of Commercial Agents from the 1st January following this period.

Les vendeurs à domicile indépendants dont les revenus d’activité ont atteint un montant fixé par arrêté au cours d’une période définie par le même arrêté sont tenus de s’inscrire au registre du commerce et des sociétés ou au registre spécial des agents commerciaux à compter du 1er janvier qui suit cette période.
