Article L224-2 of the French Sports Code

I. – A national support body has been set up, reporting to the Minister for Sport, with the remit of contributing to dialogue between supporters and the other players in sport and considering the participation of supporters, the smooth running of sporting competitions and how to improve the welcome they receive.

The members of the national body include a Member of Parliament and a Senator.

II. – A decree specifies the composition, operation and tasks of this body.

Article L224-2

I. – Est instituée une instance nationale du supportérisme, placée auprès du ministre chargé des sports, ayant pour mission de contribuer au dialogue entre les supporters et les autres acteurs du sport et de réfléchir à la participation des supporters, au bon déroulement des compétitions sportives et à l’amélioration de leur accueil.

L’instance nationale comprend parmi ses membres un député et un sénateur.

II. – Un décret précise la composition, le fonctionnement et les missions de cette instance.
