Article 221-2 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

The following are subject to the provisions of Commission Regulation (EU) No 651/2014 of 17 June 2014 declaring certain categories of aid compatible with the internal market in application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty, in particular those provided for in Chapter I and Article 54 of Section 11 relating to aid schemes for audiovisual works:
1° Automatic financial aid for distribution giving rise to the allocation of investment grants and direct grants depending on the production conditions of cinematographic works;
2° Automatic financial aid for distribution giving rise to the allocation of direct grants depending on the broadcasting conditions of cinematographic works;
3° Selective financial aid for distribution, other than structural aid.

Article 221-2

Sont soumises aux dispositions du règlement (UE) n° 651/2014 de la Commission du 17 juin 2014 déclarant certaines catégories d’aides compatibles avec le marché intérieur en application des articles 107 et 108 du traité, notamment celles prévues par le chapitre Ier et l’article 54 de la section 11 relatif aux régimes d’aides en faveur des œuvres audiovisuelles :
1° Les aides financières automatiques à la distribution donnant lieu à l’attribution d’allocations d’investissement et d’allocations directes en fonction des conditions de production des œuvres cinématographiques ;
2° Les aides financières automatiques à la distribution donnant lieu à l’attribution d’allocations directes en fonction des conditions de diffusion des œuvres cinématographiques ;
3° Les aides financières sélectives à la distribution, autres que les aides à la structure.
