Article 222-4 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

The calculation rates are set at :

– 220% for the fraction of the box office takings generated by a work of less than or equal to €307,500;
– 140% for the fraction of the box office takings generated by a work of more than €307,500 and less than or equal to €615,000;
– 120% for the fraction of the box office takings generated by a work of more than €615,000 and less than or equal to €1,230,000;
– 50% for the fraction of the total box office takings generated by a work in excess of €1,230,000 and up to €3,075,000;
– 30% for the fraction of the total box office takings generated by a work in excess of €3,075,000 and up to €4,305,000;
– 10% for the fraction of the total box office takings generated by a work in excess of €4,305,000 and up to €6,150,000.

The rate is zero for the fraction of the total box office takings generated by a work in excess of €6,150,000.

Le taux est nul pour la fraction du montant de la recette réalisée en salles par une œuvre supérieure à 6 150 000 €.
