Article 574 of the French Civil Code

If the material belonging to one of the owners were far superior to the other in quantity and price, in that case the owner of the material superior in value could reclaim the thing arising from the mixture by reimbursing the other for the value of his material, estimated at the date of reimbursement.

Si la matière appartenant à l’un des propriétaires était de beaucoup supérieure à l’autre par la quantité et le prix, en ce cas le propriétaire de la matière supérieure en valeur pourrait réclamer la chose provenue du mélange en remboursant à l’autre la valeur de sa matière, estimée à la date du remboursement.
