Article 919-27 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

Exceptional aid is awarded and its amount determined in consideration of :
1° The difficulties encountered by the distribution company during the theatrical release in 2020 of the cinematographic works it has distributed;
2° The quality of the distribution work on the cinematographic works released in cinematographic theatres during 2018, 2019 and 2020;
3° The size of the distribution company;
4° The share of sales relating to the distribution of cinematographic works in cinemas in total sales;
5° The various support measures put in place by the State and the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée from which the distribution company has benefited.

Article 919-27

Les aides exceptionnelles sont attribuées et leur montant déterminé en considération :
1° Des difficultés rencontrées par l’entreprise de distribution lors de l’exploitation en salles de spectacles cinématographiques en 2020 des œuvres cinématographiques qu’elle a distribuées ;
2° De la qualité du travail de distribution sur les œuvres cinématographiques sorties en salles de spectacles cinématographiques au cours des années 2018, 2019 et 2020 ;
3° De la taille de l’entreprise de distribution ;
4° De la part du chiffre d’affaires relatif à la distribution d’œuvres cinématographiques en salles de spectacles cinématographiques dans le chiffre d’affaires total ;
5° Des différentes mesures de soutien mises en place par l’Etat et le Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée dont l’entreprise distribution a bénéficié.
