Article L1235-1 of the French Public Health Code

Only health establishments authorised to remove organs in application of article L. 1233-1 may export them for therapeutic purposes.

Only health establishments authorised to transplant organs in application of the provisions of article L. 1234-2 may import them for therapeutic purposes.

Only organisations authorised by the Minister for Research after receiving the opinion of the Biomedicine Agency may import or export organs for scientific purposes.

Seuls les établissements de santé autorisés à prélever des organes en application de l’article L. 1233-1 peuvent les exporter à des fins thérapeutiques.

Seuls les établissements de santé autorisés à greffer des organes en application des dispositions de l’article L. 1234-2 peuvent les importer à des fins thérapeutiques.

Seuls peuvent importer ou exporter des organes à des fins scientifiques les organismes autorisés par le ministre chargé de la recherche après avis de l’Agence de la biomédecine.
