I.-The delegated sports federations are responsible for organising the medical surveillance to which their licence holders registered on the list of elite sportsmen and women mentioned in the first paragraph of article L. 221-2 are subject.
An order from the Minister for Sport defines the nature and frequency of the medical examinations carried out as part of this surveillance.
Delegated sports federations may define additional medical examinations adapted to their sport.
II – The delegated sports federations are responsible for organising the medical surveillance of their licence holders who are not on the list of elite sportsmen and women mentioned in the first paragraph of article L. 221-2 and who are recognised in the federal performance project mentioned in article L. 131-15.
These federations define the nature and frequency of the medical examinations carried out as part of this monitoring.
An order from the Minister for Sport sets the framework for the content and implementation of this monitoring.
III – The results of the examinations provided for in I and II of this article are included in the record book referred to in article L. 231-7.
The medical surveillance provided for in I and II does not exempt employers of professional athletes with an employment contract from fulfilling their obligations under Title II of Book VI of Part Four of the Labour Code.
