Article 101 of the French Code of civil procedure

If there is such a connection between cases brought before two separate courts that it is in the interests of good justice to have them heard and determined together, one of those courts may be asked to decline jurisdiction and to refer the hearing of the case as it stands to the other court.

S’il existe entre des affaires portées devant deux juridictions distinctes un lien tel qu’il soit de l’intérêt d’une bonne justice de les faire instruire et juger ensemble, il peut être demandé à l’une de ces juridictions de se dessaisir et de renvoyer en l’état la connaissance de l’affaire à l’autre juridiction.
