Article 1011 of the French Code of civil procedure

Except in the case of forfeiture provided for in Article 978, the case shall be distributed as soon as the claimant has submitted his statement of case and, at the latest, on expiry of the time limit set for that purpose.

Sauf le cas de déchéance prévu à l’article 978, l’affaire est distribuée dès que le demandeur a remis son mémoire et, au plus tard, à l’expiration du délai imparti à cette fin.
