Article 1031-7 of the French Code of civil procedure

The notice shall be sent to the court that requested it, to the public prosecutor at that court, to the first president of the court of appeal and to the public prosecutor where the request does not originate from the court.

It shall be notified to the parties by the registry of the Cour de cassation.

L’avis est adressé à la juridiction qui l’a demandé, au ministère public auprès de cette juridiction, au premier président de la cour d’appel et au procureur général lorsque la demande n’émane pas de la cour.
