Article 1075-2 of the French Code of civil procedure

The spouses must, at the judge’s request, provide evidence of their expenses and resources, in particular by producing income tax returns, tax notices and tax status statements.

They must also, at the judge’s request, produce supporting documents relating to their assets and living conditions, in addition to the declaration on their honour enabling the compensatory allowance to be set.

Les époux doivent, à la demande du juge, justifier de leurs charges et ressources, notamment par la production de déclarations de revenus, d’avis d’imposition et de bordereaux de situation fiscale.

Ils doivent également, à sa demande, produire les pièces justificatives relatives à leur patrimoine et leurs conditions de vie, en complément de la déclaration sur l’honneur permettant la fixation de la prestation compensatoire.
