Article 1132 of the French General Tax Code

During a period the expiry of which will be set by decree in the Conseil d’Etat and the duration of which may not be less than five years, publicity in the real estate register may be voluntarily required, without any collection for the benefit of the Treasury, for those deeds that have been authenticated, private sub-seed deeds that have acquired date certain, court decisions that have become final, transfers by death carried out, before 1 January 1956:

1° – which were not subject to publicity under the previous regime, but would have been subject to or admitted to it by virtue of Decree no. 55-22 du 4 janvier 1955 modifié, portant réforme de la publicité foncière;

2° – qui, soumis à publicité en vertu de ce décret, y étaient déjà soumis sous le régime antérieur et ont été publiés sous ce régime.

Article 1132

Pendant une période dont l’expiration sera fixée par décret en Conseil d’Etat et dont la durée ne pourra être inférieure à cinq ans, la publicité au fichier immobilier pourra être volontairement requise, sans aucune perception au profit du Trésor, pour ceux des actes authentiques intervenus, des actes sous-seings privés ayant acquis date certaine, des décisions judiciaires devenues définitives, des transmissions par décès opérées, avant le 1er janvier 1956 :

1° – qui n’étaient pas soumis à la publicité sous le régime antérieur, mais y auraient été soumis ou admis en vertu du décret n° 55-22 du 4 janvier 1955 modifié, portant réforme de la publicité foncière ;

2° – qui, soumis à publicité en vertu de ce décret, y étaient déjà soumis sous le régime antérieur et ont été publiés sous ce régime.
