Article 1136-18 of the French Code of civil procedure

The family court judge who orders the wearing of the mobile electronic anti-seizure device sets its duration, up to a maximum of six months, depending on the circumstances of the case and the need for protection of the requesting party.

The consent of the parties must be reiterated when the renewal of the device is ordered or when the effects of the protection order are extended pursuant to articles 1136-13 or 1136-14.

Le juge aux affaires familiales qui ordonne le port du dispositif électronique mobile anti-rapprochement en fixe la durée, dans la limite de six mois, en fonction des circonstances de l’espèce et du besoin de protection de la partie demanderesse.


Le consentement des parties doit être réitéré lorsque le renouvellement du dispositif est ordonné ou lorsque les effets de l’ordonnance de protection se prolongent en application des articles 1136-13 ou 1136-14.
