Article 1156 of the French Code of civil procedure

The child welfare service, the charity or the agent appointed by the court are, for the recovery of subsidies, subrogated to the rights of the creditor.

The sums due to the child are paid to his legal representative as soon as possible and at the latest within one month of their receipt.

Le service de l’aide sociale à l’enfance, l’œuvre ou le mandataire désigné par le tribunal sont, pour le recouvrement des subsides, subrogés dans les droits du créancier.

Les sommes dues à l’enfant sont reversées à son représentant légal dès que possible et au plus tard dans le mois de leur réception.
