Article 1192 of the French Code of civil procedure

The appeal is lodged in accordance with the rules laid down in articles 931 to 934.

The court clerk notifies, by simple letter, those parents, guardians, persons or services to whom the child has been entrusted and the minor over the age of sixteen himself who have not themselves lodged the appeal and informs them that they will be summoned to appear before the court at a later date.

L’appel est formé selon les règles édictées aux articles 931 à 934.

Le greffier avise de l’appel, par lettre simple, ceux des parents, tuteur, personne ou service à qui l’enfant a été confié et le mineur de plus de seize ans lui-même qui ne l’auraient pas eux-mêmes formé et les informe qu’ils seront ultérieurement convoqués devant la cour.
