Article 121-7 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

Unless otherwise specified, decisions to grant financial assistance shall automatically lapse on expiry of a period of four years if all or part of the assistance has not been paid because the beneficiary has failed to comply with an obligation laid down in this general regulation, the text establishing the assistance or, where applicable, the assistance agreement, in particular because the assistance agreement has not been signed or the required documents have not been sent.

Sauf dérogation, les décisions d’attribution des aides financières deviennent caduques de plein droit à l’expiration d’un délai de quatre ans si le versement de tout ou partie de l’aide n’a pu être effectué en raison du non-respect, par le bénéficiaire, d’une obligation prévue par le présent règlement général, le texte qui institue l’aide ou, le cas échéant, la convention d’aide, notamment en raison de l’absence de signature de la convention d’aide ou de l’absence de transmission de documents exigés.
