The protected person is notified of the judgment ruling on an application to open a protective measure or ordering family habilitation of an adult; notice of this is given to the public prosecutor.
However, the judge may, by specially reasoned decision, decide that there is no need to notify the protected adult of the judgment ruling on the opening of the protective measure if this information is likely to be prejudicial to his or her health. In this case, notification shall be made to his lawyer, if he has constituted one, and to the person whom the judge deems most qualified to receive such notification.
The judgment may be notified, if the judge deems it useful, to the persons he designates from among those entitled by law to appeal.
