The family council may only deliberate if at least half of its members are present. If this number is not reached, the judge may either adjourn the meeting or take the decision himself in an emergency.

Le conseil de famille ne peut délibérer que si la moitié au moins de ses membres est présente. Si ce nombre n’est pas atteint, le juge peut soit ajourner la réunion, soit prendre lui-même la décision en cas d’urgence.
