Article 1243-1 of the French Code of civil procedure

The court clerk notifies the public prosecutor of appeals lodged in matters relating to the legal protection of adults, except where the latter is the appellant.

Before the Court of Appeal, cases relating to the legal protection of adults shall be communicated to the Public Prosecutor in accordance with the provisions of Articles 424 and 426 to 428 of this code.

Le greffier avise le procureur général des appels interjetés en matière de protection juridique des majeurs, sauf lorsque ce dernier est l’appelant.

Devant la cour d’appel, la communication au ministère public des affaires relatives à la protection juridique des majeurs a lieu conformément aux dispositions des articles 424 et 426 à 428 du présent code.
