Article 1256 of the French Code of civil procedure

Where the medical certificate described by article 431 of the Civil Code and the medical opinion referred to in articles 426 and 432 of the same code are requested by the public prosecutor or ordered by the guardianship judge, they are paid for under the conditions provided for in 3° of Article R. 93 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and recovery of their cost is pursued according to the procedures and under the guarantees provided for criminal fines.

Article 1256

Lorsque le certificat médical décrit par l’article 431 du code civil et l’avis médical mentionné aux articles 426 et 432 du même code sont requis par le procureur de la République ou ordonnés par le juge des tutelles, ils sont pris en charge dans les conditions prévues par le 3° de l’article R. 93 du code de procédure pénale et le recouvrement de leur coût est poursuivi selon les procédures et sous les garanties prévues en matière d’amende pénale.
