Article 1262-7 of the French Code of civil procedure

The appeal is open to the person receiving the benefits and to the public prosecutor.

The appeal is lodged, investigated and judged according to the procedure without compulsory representation.

The time limit for appeal is fifteen days.

The judgment is notified to the person receiving the benefits and, where applicable, to the judicial representative for the protection of adults appointed. Notice is given to the public prosecutor, the president of the departmental council and, where applicable, the paying body.

L’appel est ouvert à la personne qui perçoit les prestations et au procureur de la République.

L’appel est formé, instruit et jugé selon la procédure sans représentation obligatoire.

Le délai d’appel est de quinze jours.

L’arrêt est notifié à la personne qui perçoit les prestations et, le cas échéant, au mandataire judiciaire à la protection des majeurs désigné. Avis en est donné au procureur de la République, au président du conseil départemental et, le cas échéant, à l’organisme payeur.
