Article 130 of the French Civil Code

An absent person whose existence is judicially established recovers his property and that which he should have received during his absence in the state in which it is, the price of that which would have been alienated or property acquired by use of capital or income accruing to his benefit.

L’absent dont l’existence est judiciairement constatée recouvre ses biens et ceux qu’il aurait dû recueillir pendant son absence dans l’état où ils se trouvent, le prix de ceux qui auraient été aliénés ou les biens acquis en emploi des capitaux ou des revenus échus à son profit.
