Article 130 of the French General Tax Code

The provisions relating to the withholding tax provided for in 1 of article 119 bis and the levy provided for in I of Article 125 A does not apply:

1° Neither to interest shares in companies or unions of agricultural cooperative societies designated in articles L 521-1 et seq of the Rural and Maritime Fishing Code, as well as agricultural collective interest companies that have benefited from State advances, nor to negotiable loans or bonds issued by the same companies before 1 January 1965 ;

2° Neither to interest shares in mutual agricultural credit companies referred to in Book V of the Rural and Maritime Fishing Code, nor to negotiable loans or bonds issued by these companies before 1 January 1965.

Article 130

Les dispositions relatives à la retenue à la source prévue au 1 de l’article 119 bis et au prélèvement prévu au I de l’article 125 A ne s’appliquent :

1° Ni aux parts d’intérêt des sociétés ou unions de sociétés coopératives agricoles désignées aux articles L 521-1 et suivants du code rural et de la pêche maritime, ainsi que des sociétés d’intérêt collectif agricole ayant bénéficié des avances de l’Etat, ni aux emprunts négociables ou obligations émis par les mêmes sociétés avant le 1er janvier 1965 ;

2° Ni aux parts d’intérêt des sociétés de crédit agricole mutuel visées au livre V du code rural et de la pêche maritime, ni aux emprunts négociables ou obligations émis par ces sociétés avant le 1er janvier 1965.
