Article 1300 of the French Code of civil procedure

The information provided for in the second paragraph of article 1397 of the Civil Code is notified to the persons who had been parties to the marriage contract, to the adult children of each spouse or to their representative in the event of a legal protection measure and to the tutor responsible for representing the minor children where applicable.

The content of this information as well as that of the notice provided for in the third paragraph of article 1397 of the Civil Code is defined by decree of the Minister of Justice.

Article 1300

L’information prévue au deuxième alinéa de l’article 1397 du code civil est notifiée aux personnes qui avaient été parties au contrat de mariage, aux enfants majeurs de chaque époux ou à leur représentant en cas de mesure de protection juridique et au tuteur chargé de représenter les enfants mineurs le cas échéant.

Le contenu de cette information ainsi que celui de l’avis prévu au troisième alinéa de l’article 1397 du code civil est défini par arrêté du garde des sceaux, ministre de la justice.
