Article 1344 of the French Code of civil procedure

The inventory includes:

1° A mention of the order entrusting the curatorship of the vacant estate to the administrative authority in charge of the estates;

2° An indication of the places where the inventory is made;

3° A description and estimate of the property as well as a designation of the cash;

4° The active and passive consistence of the estate as it results from all documents, titles and papers.

It is dated and signed by its author.

L’inventaire comprend :

1° La mention de l’ordonnance confiant la curatelle de la succession vacante à l’autorité administrative chargée des domaines ;

2° L’indication des lieux où l’inventaire est fait ;

3° La description et l’estimation des biens ainsi que la désignation des espèces en numéraire ;

4° La consistance active et passive de la succession telle qu’elle résulte de tous documents, titres et papiers.

Il est daté et signé de son auteur.
