Article 1378-2 of the French Code of civil procedure

The opposition mentioned in the third paragraph of article 1007 of the Civil Code is lodged with the notary in charge of the succession.

The universal legatee is then sent into possession by an order of the president placed at the bottom of the petition to which the opposition deed is attached.

L’opposition mentionnée au troisième alinéa de l’article 1007 du code civilest formée auprès du notaire chargé de la succession.

Le légataire universel se fait alors envoyer en possession par une ordonnance du président mise au bas de la requête à laquelle est joint l’acte d’opposition.
