Article 1480 of the French Code of civil procedure

The arbitral award shall be made by a majority vote.

It shall be signed by all the arbitrators.

If a minority of them refuse to sign it, the award shall so state and the award shall have the same effect as if it had been signed by all the arbitrators.

La sentence arbitrale est rendue à la majorité des voix.

Elle est signée par tous les arbitres.

Si une minorité d’entre eux refuse de la signer, la sentence en fait mention et celle-ci produit le même effet que si elle avait été signée par tous les arbitres.
