Article 152 of the French Code of civil procedure

A decision which, in the course of proceedings, merely orders or modifies an investigative measure shall not be notified. The same applies to a decision that refuses to order or modify the measure.

The court clerk shall send a copy of the decision by simple letter to the parties who are in default or absent when the decision is handed down.

Article 152

La décision qui, en cours d’instance, se borne à ordonner ou à modifier une mesure d’instruction n’est pas notifiée. Il en est de même de la décision qui refuse d’ordonner ou de modifier la mesure.

Le greffier adresse copie de la décision par lettre simple aux parties défaillantes ou absentes lors du prononcé de la décision.
