If it was agreed at the time of the lease that in the event of a sale the purchaser could evict the tenant and no stipulation was made regarding damages, the lessor is obliged to compensate the tenant as follows.

Article 1744

S’il a été convenu lors du bail qu’en cas de vente l’acquéreur pourrait expulser le locataire et qu’il n’ait été fait aucune stipulation sur les dommages-intérêts, le bailleur est tenu d’indemniser le locataire de la manière suivante.
