Article 184 of the French Civil Code

Any marriage contracted in contravention of the provisions contained in articles 144, 146, 146-1, 147, 161, 162 and 163 may be challenged, within thirty years of its celebration, either by the spouses themselves, or by all those who have an interest in it, or by the public prosecutor.

Tout mariage contracté en contravention aux dispositions contenues aux articles 144, 146, 146-1, 147, 161, 162 et 163 peut être attaqué, dans un délai de trente ans à compter de sa célébration, soit par les époux eux-mêmes, soit par tous ceux qui y ont intérêt, soit par le ministère public.
