Article 187 of the French Civil Code

In all cases where, in accordance with Article 184, an action for nullity may be brought by all those who have an interest in it; it may not be brought by collateral relatives, or by children born of another marriage, during the lifetime of both spouses, but only where they have a born and present interest in it.

Dans tous les cas où, conformément à l’article 184, l’action en nullité peut être intentée par tous ceux qui y ont un intérêt, elle ne peut l’être par les parents collatéraux, ou par les enfants nés d’un autre mariage, du vivant des deux époux, mais seulement lorsqu’ils y ont un intérêt né et actuel.
