Article 2-14 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

Any duly registered association whose articles of association propose the defence of the French language and which is approved under the conditions laid down by decree in the Conseil d’Etat may exercise the rights granted to civil parties in respect of infringements of the provisions of the texts adopted for the application of the articles 2,3,4,6,7and 10 de la loi n° 94-665 du 4 août 1994 relative à l’emploi de la langue française.

Any foundation recognised as being in the public interest may exercise the rights granted to a civil party under the same conditions and subject to the same reservations as the association mentioned in this article.

Article 2-14

Toute association régulièrement déclarée se proposant par ses statuts la défense de la langue française et agréée dans les conditions fixées par décret en Conseil d’Etat peut exercer les droits reconnus à la partie civile en ce qui concerne les infractions aux dispositions des textes pris pour l’application des articles 2,3,4,6,7 et 10 de la loi n° 94-665 du 4 août 1994 relative à l’emploi de la langue française.

Toute fondation reconnue d’utilité publique peut exercer les droits reconnus à la partie civile dans les mêmes conditions et sous les mêmes réserves que l’association mentionnée au présent article.
