Article 211-14 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

Long-length cinematographic works must be produced by at least one delegated production company.
For the purposes of granting production aid for the same work, this status may only be granted to a maximum of two production companies, on condition that they act jointly.

Les œuvres cinématographiques de longue durée doivent être produites par au moins une entreprise de production déléguée.
Pour l’attribution des aides à la production d’une même œuvre, cette qualité ne peut être reconnue qu’à deux entreprises de production au plus à la condition qu’elles agissent conjointement.
