Article 211-30 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

For the calculation, production companies declare the distribution of cinematographic works. This declaration includes the following information:
1° The registration number of the cinematographic work in the public cinema and audiovisual register;
2° The date of the first commercial showing of the cinematographic work in cinemas;
3° The date of issue of the production licence;
4° The date of broadcast of the cinematographic work and the television service on which this broadcast took place. This information must be certified by the television service publisher or by the Autorité de Régulation de la Communication Audiovisuelle et Numérique (ARCOM).
The declaration must be accompanied by a copy of the contract for the transfer of broadcasting rights signed with the television service publisher.

Pour le calcul, les entreprises de production déclarent la diffusion des œuvres cinématographiques. Cette déclaration comprend les renseignements suivants :
1° Le numéro d’immatriculation de l’œuvre cinématographique au registre public du cinéma et de l’audiovisuel ;
2° La date de la première représentation commerciale de l’œuvre cinématographique en salles de spectacles cinématographiques ;
3° La date de délivrance de l’agrément de production ;
4° La date de la diffusion de l’œuvre cinématographique et le service de télévision sur lequel a eu lieu cette diffusion. Ces renseignements doivent être certifiés par l’éditeur du service de télévision ou par l’Autorité de régulation de la communication audiovisuelle et numérique (ARCOM).
La déclaration est accompagnée d’une copie du contrat de cession des droits de diffusion conclu avec l’éditeur du service de télévision.
