Article 256-0 of the French General Tax Code

For the application of this Chapter:

1°The other Member States of the European Community are those listed in Article 299 of the Treaty establishing the European Community, excluding the following territories:

For the Federal Republic of Germany, the island of Heligoland and the territory of Büsingen;

For the Kingdom of Spain, Ceuta, Melilla and the Canary Islands;

For the Republic of Finland, the Aland Islands ;

For the Hellenic Republic, Mount Athos;

For the Italian Republic, Livigno, Campione d’Italia and the national waters of Lake Lugano;

The Channel Islands.

However, the Isle of Man is considered part of the territory of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Sovereign Base Areas of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland at Akrotiri and Dhekelia are considered part of the territory of the Republic of Cyprus.

2° The European Community is the set of Member States, as defined in 1°.

Pour l’application du présent chapitre :

1° Les autres Etats membres de la Communauté européenne sont ceux énumérés à l’article 299 du traité instituant la Communauté européenne, à l’exclusion des territoires suivants :

Pour la République fédérale d’Allemagne, l’île d’Helgoland et le territoire de Büsingen ;

Pour le Royaume d’Espagne, Ceuta, Melilla et les îles Canaries ;

Pour la République de Finlande, les îles Aland ;

Pour la République hellénique, le mont Athos ;

Pour la République italienne, Livigno, Campione d’Italia et les eaux nationales du lac de Lugano ;

Les îles Anglo-Normandes.

Toutefois, l’île de Man est considérée comme une partie du territoire du Royaume-Uni de Grande-Bretagne et d’Irlande du Nord et les zones de souveraineté du Royaume-Uni de Grande-Bretagne et d’Irlande du Nord à Akrotiri et Dhekelia sont considérées comme une partie du territoire de la République de Chypre.

2° La Communauté européenne est l’ensemble des Etats membres, tel que défini au 1°.
