If, after the proceedings, the evidence of a witness appears to be false, the president, either of his own motion or at the request of the public prosecutor or one of the parties, may specially order that witness to be present at the proceedings until they are closed and, in addition, to remain in the courtroom until the judgment of the assize court has been delivered. In the event of a breach of this order, the president shall have the witness placed under provisional arrest.
After the judgment of the assize court has been read, or, in the event of referral to another session, the president shall order that the witness be, by the force publique, taken without delay before the public prosecutor who shall request that an investigation be opened.
The court clerk shall send this magistrate a copy of the report that may have been drawn up pursuant to Article 333.
