Civil registrars may not insert anything in the records they receive, either by note or by any statement whatsoever, other than what must be declared by those appearing.

Les officiers de l’état civil ne pourront rien insérer dans les actes qu’ils recevront, soit par note, soit par énonciation quelconque, que ce qui doit être déclaré par les comparants.
