In the cases specified in 1°, 2°, 4° and 5° of the previous article, the judge may instruct either a qualified person or an open observation, education or re-education service to provide help and advice to the person or service to whom the child has been entrusted and to the family and to monitor the child’s development.
In the case mentioned in 3° of article 375-3, the judge may, by way of exception and on the written application of the public prosecutor, where the situation and the interests of the child so justify, instruct a public sector service of the judicial protection of young people to provide help and advice to the service to which the child is entrusted and to carry out the monitoring provided for in the first paragraph of this article.
In all cases, the judge may attach the same terms to the surrender of the child as under article 375-2, third paragraph. It may also decide that it will be periodically informed of the child’s situation.
