Article 382-1 of the French Civil Code

Where legal administration is exercised jointly by the two parents, each of them is deemed, with regard to third parties, to have received from the other the power to carry out alone acts of administration relating to the minor’s property.

The list of acts that are considered to be acts of administration is defined under the conditions of article 496.

Article 382-1

Lorsque l’administration légale est exercée en commun par les deux parents, chacun d’eux est réputé, à l’égard des tiers, avoir reçu de l’autre le pouvoir de faire seul les actes d’administration portant sur les biens du mineur.

La liste des actes qui sont regardés comme des actes d’administration est définie dans les conditions de l’article 496.
