Article 387-6 of the French Civil Code

The legal administrator is required to comply with the summonses of the guardianship judge and the public prosecutor and to provide them with any information they require.

The judge may issue injunctions against him or her and order him or her to pay the civil fine provided for in the Code of Civil Procedure if he or she fails to comply.

L’administrateur légal est tenu de déférer aux convocations du juge des tutelles et du procureur de la République et de leur communiquer toute information qu’ils requièrent.

Le juge peut prononcer contre lui des injonctions et le condamner à l’amende civile prévue par le code de procédure civile s’il n’a pas déféré.
