If the judgment has been served on the defendant, the objection must be lodged within the following time limits, which run from the date of service: ten days if the defendant resides in metropolitan France, one month if he resides outside this territory.

Si la signification du jugement a été faite à la personne du prévenu, l’opposition doit être formée dans les délais ci-après, qui courent à compter de cette signification : dix jours si le prévenu réside en France métropolitaine, un mois s’il réside hors de ce territoire.
