Article 515-5-1 of the French Civil Code

The partners may, in the initial agreement or in an amending agreement, choose to make the property they acquire, together or separately, subject to the joint ownership regime as from the registration of these agreements. Such property is then deemed to be jointly owned by half, with no recourse by either partner against the other on the grounds of unequal contribution.

Article 515-5-1

Les partenaires peuvent, dans la convention initiale ou dans une convention modificative, choisir de soumettre au régime de l’indivision les biens qu’ils acquièrent, ensemble ou séparément, à compter de l’enregistrement de ces conventions. Ces biens sont alors réputés indivis par moitié, sans recours de l’un des partenaires contre l’autre au titre d’une contribution inégale.
