Article 598 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

Where the sentence handed down is the same as that imposed by the law applicable to the offence, no one may seek to have the judgment set aside on the pretext that there has been an error in the citation of the text of the law.

Lorsque la peine prononcée est la même que celle portée par la loi qui s’applique à l’infraction, nul ne peut demander l’annulation de l’arrêt sous le prétexte qu’il y aurait erreur dans la citation du texte de la loi.
