Article 599 of the French Code of civil procedure

If a party has appealed or declares that he intends to appeal for revision against a judgment produced in proceedings pending before a court other than that which gave it, the court hearing the case in which it is produced may, depending on the circumstances, disregard it or stay it until the application for revision has been decided by the court having jurisdiction.

Si une partie s’est pourvue ou déclare qu’elle entend se pourvoir en révision contre un jugement produit dans une instance pendante devant une juridiction autre que celle qui l’a rendu, la juridiction saisie de la cause dans laquelle il est produit peut, suivant les circonstances, passer outre ou surseoir jusqu’à ce que le recours en révision ait été jugé par la juridiction compétente.
