Article 627-10 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

The judgment rendered by the Investigating Chamber and, where applicable, the place and date of surrender of the person claimed, as well as the duration of the detention undergone with a view to such surrender, shall be brought to the attention of the International Criminal Court, by any means, by the authorities competent under Article 87 of the Statute.

The person claimed shall be surrendered within one month of the day on which this decision becomes final, failing which he or she shall be released immediately by decision of the President of the Investigating Chamber, unless his or her surrender has been delayed by insurmountable circumstances.

L’arrêt rendu par la chambre de l’instruction et, le cas échéant, le lieu et la date de la remise de la personne réclamée, ainsi que la durée de la détention subie en vue de cette remise, sont portés à la connaissance de la Cour pénale internationale, par tout moyen, par les autorités compétentes en vertu de l’article 87 du statut.

La personne réclamée est remise dans un délai d’un mois à compter du jour où cette décision est devenue définitive, faute de quoi elle est immédiatement libérée sur décision du président de la chambre de l’instruction, à moins que sa remise ait été retardée par des circonstances insurmontables.
