Article 630 of the French Civil Code

A person who has the use of the fruits of land may only demand as much as he needs for his needs and those of his family.

He may demand it for the needs even of children who have arisen to him since the grant of the use.

Celui qui a l’usage des fruits d’un fonds ne peut en exiger qu’autant qu’il lui en faut pour ses besoins et ceux de sa famille.

Il peut en exiger pour les besoins même des enfants qui lui sont survenus depuis la concession de l’usage.
