Article 647-1 of the French Code of civil procedure

The date of service, including when it must be made within a specified period, of a judicial or extrajudicial document in French Polynesia, in the Wallis and Futuna Islands, in New Caledonia and in the French Southern and Antarctic Territories and abroad is, with regard to the person who serves it, the date of dispatch of the document by the bailiff or the registry or, failing that, the date of receipt by the competent public prosecutor’s office.

La date de notification, y compris lorsqu’elle doit être faite dans un délai déterminé, d’un acte judiciaire ou extrajudiciaire en Polynésie française, dans les îles Wallis et Futuna, en Nouvelle-Calédonie et dans les Terres australes et antarctiques françaises ainsi qu’à l’étranger est, à l’égard de celui qui y procède, la date d’expédition de l’acte par l’huissier de justice ou le greffe ou, à défaut, la date de réception par le parquet compétent.
